1. Open the computer case and locate the memory slots (ground yourself to prevent static electricity and clean the slots from dust).

2. Unlock the memory slot clips (install two memory sticks in corresponding slots for dual-channel).

3. Align the memory module with the notch and if it doesn't fit, try rotating it.

4. Press down firmly once aligned until you hear a "click" sound to secure the module in place.

5. Check if the gold fingers are not exposed, indicating proper installation.

6. To remove old memory, press the clips on both sides until the module pops out.
