Food-grade material with added molybdenum for stability and durability
1. How does the honeycomb wok achieve a non-stick effect?
The honeycomb non-stick technology creates a micro-air cushion between the food and the pan, preventing sticking.
2. Can metal spatulas be used with the wok?
Yes, metal spatulas can be used as the honeycomb layer effectively protects the surface from scratches.
3. What if the food sticks to the wok?
Sticking may occur if the cooking time is too long or the heat is too high. However, it does not necessarily mean the wok is non-stick. Cleaning with a scrubber will easily remove the stuck food.
4. Is 316L stainless steel safe and durable?
Yes, 316L stainless steel is food-grade, corrosion-resistant, and durable due to the added molybdenum.
5. Can high heat be used with the wok?
While high heat can be used, the wok's multi-layer composite structure allows for rapid and even heat conduction, making medium to low heat sufficient for daily cooking.
Wash the wok with a small amount of detergent inside and out, then rinse with water.
Boil water with vinegar in the wok for 10 minutes to clean the interior.
Wipe the interior with pork fat or vegetable oil over low heat for 5-10 minutes.
Store the wok with oil in it for at least 8 hours before use.
