1. Attach the ink absorber to the pen grip by aligning the two protrusions with the narrow slot.

2. Rotate the red or black part of the ink absorber to move the black piston rod towards the pen grip.

3. Submerge the pen tip fully into the ink, then rotate the red or black part of the ink absorber to draw ink into the absorber.

4. After filling the absorber with ink, wipe the pen tip with a paper towel from the bottom of the ink bottle, then screw on the pen body to start writing.

5. For the first use, prime the pen by drawing ink 2-3 times to remove air bubbles for better writing performance.
