Form a slight smile with both lips.

Align upper and lower teeth inside the mouth.

Gently pull the corners of the mouth outward and close lips tightly, leaving a small gap in the center.

Place the mouthpiece lightly in the center of the lips, with approximately 2/3 of the upper lip and 1/3 of the lower lip covering it.

Do not push lips forward; upper lip should not cover the lower lip.

Lower lip should not wrap over the upper lip; keep the chin level and avoid puffing cheeks.

Apply equal pressure on both corners of the mouth; avoid pulling to one side.

Do not press the mouthpiece heavily against the lips.
