Applications: Suitable for various automotive decorations such as side strips, front strips, rear strips, door sill strips, corner bumpers, rear guards, stainless steel mailbox covers, pedal plates, door handles, wheel arches, brake lights, etc. Also suitable for multiple household applications such as photo walls, various types of sockets, hooks, stationary shelves, car ornaments, car stands, car perfumes, dashcams, car trash cans.
Surface Compatibility: Suitable for walls, tiles, marble, glass, metal, wood, aluminum frames, plastic, PVC. Not suitable for low-quality surfaces, oily/watery surfaces, peeling surfaces, smooth and dry surfaces. Can be used on both interior and exterior automotive decorations.
Adhesive Performance: Can achieve bonding with 3 M VHB Tape under suitable conditions.
Cleaning: Use a mixture of isopropyl alcohol/water for simple cleaning of bonding surfaces. Apply pressure of 15psi at a temperature range of 15°C-35°C. Some VHB Tape variants can operate at temperatures as low as 0°C.
Bonding Strength: 50%, 75%, 90% after 20 minutes, 60 minutes, and 24 hours respectively at 23°C.
Usage Tips: 3 M double-sided tape is designed to be less sticky initially for easy repositioning within 72 hours. For stronger adhesion, remove any air bubbles and apply pressure during application. For best results, wait 72 hours before removing any transparent tape used for additional fixation.
Operating Instructions: Refer to HS0EIB1.11 for detailed instructions on surface preparation, application, and troubleshooting.
Common Issues: Adhesion may be affected by surface cleanliness, temperature, material compatibility, and storage conditions. Ensure proper surface cleaning, application temperature, and pressure for optimal bonding results.
Storage: Store tape rolls on racks under recommended conditions of 22°C and 50% relative humidity for up to 3 years while maintaining original properties.
