The 4001 ink series was introduced in 1901 and remains a favorite among fountain pen enthusiasts worldwide.
The ink is designed to be water-soluble and easy to clean.
The bottle is heat-processed glass, which may have slight shape variations due to manufacturing but does not affect quality.
Fully automated filling lines ensure stable production and quality control.
Pelikan also offers ink cartridges compatible with various fountain pens as an alternative to bottled ink.
Ideal for everyday writing, calligraphy, and artistic applications.
Suitable for use in a wide range of fountain pens and dip pens.
If ink dries inside the pen due to inactivity, adding water will dissolve the residue.
Pelikan inks have been historically named with numbers such as 2001, 3001, 4001, 5001, and 6001.
The brand has a legacy of innovation and quality in ink manufacturing dating back over a century.
Pelikan’s trademark pelican logo is inspired by the family crest of the Guelph dynasty, symbolizing care and precision.
Pelikan inks undergo rigorous quality control and are produced with advanced German technology.
The packaging and ink formulation are designed to maintain ink purity and performance over time.
Due to lighting and display differences, actual ink colors may vary slightly from images.
The glass bottle’s heat processing may cause minor shape deviations, which are normal and do not indicate defects.
