Optical Technology
Third-generation pre-focal plane field flattening technology with dual flat-field lenses, including two special flat-field lenses before the focal plane for superior edge-to-edge sharpness and low distortion imaging.
Lens Elements
ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass objective lens combined with triple lanthanide glass eyepieces (+3 lanthanide elements) for ultra-high definition (EHD) clarity and true-to-life color reproduction.
Resolution Grade
BSR-8-EHD (Extra High Definition), providing center field resolution ≤193 arcseconds × aperture (mm).
Wide-angle BSV-6-WA series with 65° apparent field of view; specific models offer 8.2° (8x42), 7.0° (10x42), 6.5° (10x50), and 5.5° (12x50) real field of view.
Coatings
Triple-layer high-brightness coatings (BSC-8888/DC/PC) including phase correction (PC) and dielectric coatings (DC) on prisms, achieving peak light transmittance up to 90%, enhancing brightness and contrast even in low-light conditions.
Waterproof and Fogproof
BSW-7 rated nitrogen-filled sealed body, waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, ensuring durability in rain, fog, sea spray, and frost.
Body Material
Magnesium alloy chassis offering lightweight (e.g., 705 g for 10x42), high strength, and impact resistance; reduces weight by 30% compared to aluminum alloy while withstanding 20 g acceleration.
Eyepiece
Extra-large wide-angle eyepieces ≥25 mm diameter for comfortable, bright, and fatigue-free viewing.
Diopter Adjustment
Titanium-colored metal focus wheel and diopter ring with rubber anti-slip for precise and quick focusing.
