1. If secondary router 2 continues to assign IP addresses, devices under router 2 form a separate Gigabit LAN; in this case, PC2 and Laptop 2 cannot access NAS as they are on different subnets.

2. The red line under the switch indicates a 2.5G LAN unaffected by the router’s Gigabit port; PCs accessing NAS within this 2.5G LAN achieve higher speeds, so NAS is recommended to connect to the switch.

3. If NAS connects to the router’s Gigabit port and PC connects to the switch, PC-to-NAS speed is limited to Gigabit.
