1. Align the center notch of the protective lens with the lower right corner of the camera lens, then rotate clockwise to install, ensuring the notch aligns with the microphone hole.

2. Confirm installation by checking the protective lens icon and popup notification on the camera status bar.

3. To remove, hold the base with thumb and forefinger and rotate counterclockwise; the protective lens icon will disappear from the status bar after removal.

Avoid excessive force or twisting when installing to prevent deformation or damage to the base.

Ensure the protective lens is fully tightened and properly aligned with the microphone hole.

Protective lens icon and notifications appear only after proper installation on the screen side.

Installing or removing the lens during recording, saving, upgrading, or formatting may show the icon but no popup.

Protective lens may slightly affect image stitching; aim the lens directly at the subject for best results.

Keep the lens clean; dirt or scratches may degrade image quality.

Avoid use in wet environments due to non-sealed design; keep lens and surrounding area dry to prevent fogging.

If fogging occurs, use the included cleaning cloth or a soft cloth to wipe.
