Recommended to use medium to low heat on gas stoves; flame size should not exceed the wok bottom

Initial seasoning ("opening the wok") is recommended before first use to enhance non-stick properties and rust resistance:

1. Clean thoroughly with detergent and dry

2. Heat on high for 1-2 minutes, rotating evenly

3. Brush cooking oil evenly inside the wok on medium heat for 5 minutes, repeat 6-8 times

4. Brush oil again, cool down, wipe excess oil, then apply a thin layer of oil and let sit overnight

For frequent cooking with soups or stews, re-season every two weeks for best performance
