Built-in 1000mAh lithium-ion battery (7.82Wh) to ensure uninterrupted shooting.

Additional details

Supports fast charging: charges camera battery from 0% to Approx. 44% in about 30 minutes (lab test at room temperature, for reference only).

Integrated tripod at the bottom of the grip for easy switching between handheld and fixed shooting without disassembly.

USB-C interface (OUT2) supports connection to external audio devices such as wired digital headphones, wired microphones, and wireless microphone receivers.

1/4" threaded interface at the bottom for mounting additional accessories (not recommended for use during intense activities like motorcycling, cycling, or skiing).

1. Charging the Camera

Insert the battery grip into the camera’s bottom USB-C port, ensuring both side locks engage fully.
The grip will automatically charge the camera.
Long press the unlock button to remove the grip; short press to check grip battery level.
Firmware upgrades for the grip may occur automatically when connected; do not remove during upgrade.

2. Charging External Devices

Connect external devices (phones, tablets) to the grip’s USB-C port using a USB-C cable.

Large capacity devices may not be fully charged by the grip.

3. Charging Both Camera and Grip

Connect the grip inserted in the camera to a power adapter via USB-C cable.
Charge the camera first, then the grip.

4. Charging the Grip Alone

Connect the grip to a power adapter via USB-C cable; full charge takes approximately 40 minutes.

5. Accessory Installation

Attach accessories via the 1/4" threaded interface at the grip’s bottom.
Avoid use during vigorous activities.

The USB-C plug (OUT2) is only compatible with Insta360 Luna Ultra for charging.

The grip is not waterproof; avoid rain or underwater use.

Clean with a soft cloth; do not use liquids with cleaning agents.

Do not disassemble, mechanically impact, crush, or throw the grip.

Avoid placing heavy objects on the grip.

Charge and discharge periodically if unused for long periods to maintain battery health.

Store in dust- and sand-free environments.

Use the built-in tripod on stable, flat surfaces only; avoid excessive force to prevent deformation.

Use only CCC-certified power adapters.

Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent type to avoid safety hazards.

Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures, mechanical damage, or low pressure environments.

Discontinue use if battery swelling occurs.
