- 1. Avoid water exposure
- Keep the basketball dry; do not use in rain or let it get wet to prevent damage and reduce lifespan.
- 2. Avoid heavy pressure
- Do not kick, sit on, or place heavy objects on the basketball.
- 3. Avoid direct sunlight
- After use, wipe the surface with a cloth; do not wash with water. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
- 4. Proper inflation
- Use a specialized air needle moistened before insertion. Inflate to 7-9 psi. Do not overinflate or use high-pressure pumps.
- 5. Bounce Test
- When dropped from 1.8 meters onto a hard flat surface, the ball should rebound to a height between 1.2 and 1.4 meters.
- 6. Glue Repair
- If peeling occurs due to water or other reasons, do not use 502 glue as it causes oxidation and hardening of the surface.
- 7. Leak Test
- Inflate to 7-9 psi and let sit for 24 hours. A pressure drop greater than 15% indicates leakage.
