1. Stand naturally with your head down. Locate the most prominent bone at the base of the neck, which is the C7 vertebra.

2. Find the most prominent bone at the lower side of the waist, the hip bone.

3. Measure the length along the spine from the C7 vertebra to the center point of the hip bone; this is your back length.
