1. Power off the computer and unplug the power cable; press the power button several times to ensure complete power discharge. For laptops, remove the removable battery or disconnect the battery pack connector.

2. Open the computer case and locate the memory slots. Use anti-static wristbands or gloves to discharge static electricity and clean dust from memory slots.

3. Open the memory slot clips (for dual-channel installation, open the slots with matching colors).

4. Align the memory module notch with the slot key; if it does not fit, flip the module.

5. Press down gently and then firmly until a “click” sound is heard and the clips snap back into place. Ensure the gold contacts are fully inserted and not exposed.

6. Confirm the memory is securely installed and the clips are locked.

Different memory models may vary in appearance but share the same installation method.

Do not apply excessive force during installation; ensure correct orientation before pressing down.
