1. Connect the scanner to a computer USB port; plug and play with no driver installation required.

2. Place the cursor in the input field where barcode data is needed.

3. Scan the barcode; data will appear in the input field.

4. For optimal scanning, maintain an angle other than 90° between scanner and barcode.

5. Ensure the laser covers the entire barcode for accurate reading.
