1. Empty the water tank.

2. Mix descaler and water at a 1: 10 ratio and pour into the water tank.

3. Place a container (at least 1.5 liters) under the milk frother.

4. Press and hold the descaling button until the descaling indicator light stays on.

5. Open the steam knob; water will flow intermittently.

6. When the water tank is empty (indicated by the water shortage light), close the steam knob.

7. Rinse and refill the water tank with clean water.

8. Repeat the process until the water tank is empty again, then close the steam knob.

4. Ensure the filter handle is removed.

5. Turn the selector knob to the steam position and place a container under the milk frother.

7. Repeat the steam flow and stop cycle three times until the water tank is empty.

8. Turn the selector knob to the coffee position and flush the water tank until empty.

9. Rinse and refill the water tank with clean water.
