Designed for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) applications using loose tube optical cables. Traditionally, quick connectors and cold joints were used, but due to suboptimal performance and high construction costs, heat fusion splicing remains preferred. This heat shrinkable tube is independently designed and manufactured to enable fusion splicing of both loose tube cables and single-core jumpers within the tube.
